This Sun marble is part of my Planetary Series - a spinoff from the NU-Classic Series. The Sun felt like the obvious anchor for the collection, and it was one of my favorites to design/build!
The core is Gold Dichro over Rasta Gold Crayon, giving it that deep golden glow you'd expect from our star. Elvis Red over Electrum Sparkle banding wraps the surface with some fiery contrast. Sunspot murrine and surface dots are scattered across the piece, along with a few stars and UFOs hanging out in orbit.
